Is HausWorx an inspection company?
No. Inspection companies determine if homes are sound for purchasing and meet certain requirements.
Is HausWorx a property management company?
No. Although we do provide many of the services that property management companies offer, our mission is more focused on equipping homeowners with the knowledge they need to manage their homes well. We are happy to coordinate repairs and inspections with highly respected vendors in your area.
What types of homes do you service?
We provide services for every type of home. Our team has property management experience with homes of all shapes and sizes.
Where do you provide services?
We work with homeowners all throughout Westchester County, the Hudson Valley, and lower Connecticut.
How much does HausWorx charge for their services?
Our pricing depends on the size and age of the home. We are happy to provide price estimates after conducting on-site walkthroughs.
Do I need to be present for a HausWorx walkthrough?
We recommend that you join our team members on-site for your home walkthrough. We can provide education in real time, as well as answer any questions you may have about our services.
How long do walkthroughs take?
Between 2-3 hours on average. We schedule appointments between 9 - 5 pm, Monday - Friday however we are flexible.
Who should I call for help if something goes wrong in my house?
You can either call us or contact the appropriate vendor directly. In your handbook, we provide contact information for every manufacturer and repair service associated with your home’s devices and systems, should you want to address the issue independently. However, we are more than happy to coordinate repair work on your behalf if that is most convenient for you.
Do I have to work with your maintenance vendors or can I choose my own?
You do not have to work with our vendor partners. We are more than happy to work with your established vendors or coordinate services on your behalf with our professional partners to ensure that your systems are running smoothly.
